Has anyone tried FitRPG?

I downloaded it today.  It's an old school role playing game for iOS and Adroid that syncs with your FitBit data.  You earn gold for completing tasks (walking 1,000 steps for example).  You can then use the gold to buy weapons, armor etc. and then battle against bosses in the game or even your own friends to level up.  It seems fairly rudimentary right now, but the developers are apparently committed to adding more features.  I like that they are doing something inventive to enhance the gamification element of using a FitBit.

I just recently downloaded the app. I am a bit confused as to navigate it and what hp means. I haven't battled anything but i plan to make my level really high before i do. I am only at level 6. But i do agree with you, it gives us some encouragement and enjoyment to walk and play. Im surprised not much people use the app. Hopefully this discussion will get the word around. Anyway best of luck to you on your fitness goals. 🙂

I just recently started trying to use fitrpg, but it's so buggy to the point of being unusable. I haven't been able to login successfully for ages. Fitrpg claims it's on fitbit's end, so I hope they get on it soon. I hate waiting for things like this to be fixed. It's such a tease!

fitbit is having trouble syncing with fitbit and looks like it needs some attention.

I downloaded it just fine but now it has stopped working on my Android. My boss is having the same problem.

I've had a pretty good time using it just in the span of a day, but the main problem for me is that not many of my friends use Fitbits to begin with, much less use FitRPG, so I'd enjoy meeting some people to add on there to encourage more battling and such.

I downloaded FitRpg and it wouldn't connect. Something about a failed token.

@Freddrick Looks like the app hasn't been updated in years, which means the app owner did not upgrade the app to use OAuth 2.0. That's why the app doesn't work and shows that error. Sorry. 😞
