Health connect Sync Issues

I have a new S24 Ulta, and recently upgraded to Fitbit premium. I don't have any fitbit hardware, just a Galaxy 4 smart wwatch. I also use Google fit.

Usingbhesth connect, I can only see Fitbit writing, not reading, all permissions are set for both, it also won't add steps from Samsung or Fit activities.

Food entered into Fitbit doesn't sync with Google or Samsung health app either.

This may be a question for whomever Health connect is owned by, it is frustrating that in 2024 we can't have simple data sharing sharing.

I really don't want to buy a second watch when everything is automatically logged by the Samsung watch.
