Help Flex started holding water after shower

I've had my Flex for 1.5 weeks.  I've done dishes, washed kids, took showers with no problem. Then yesterday it stopped working after a shower when it had over 50% battery.  I removed the device from the band and had to charge it for over 2 hours for it to start working again.  I thought I noticed some wetness.

So this a.m. I took a shower as normal and when I got out I checked it.  Not working again.  There is quite a bit of water in the band when I blow in the hole.  I'm letting it dry thoroughly before I put it back on.  I can take it over during showers, but...

Not sure if this is true, but it looks like the sides of the band are bulging just a teeny bit.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Let's hope no water got inside your tracker. If it was a different tracker, it would be suggested that you put it in a bowl of dry rice to draw out the moisture for at least 24 hours.

Clean the inside of the band with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.

As for the bulge in the band, that's where the tracker goes and you might be pulling on it a bit too hard when removing the tracker for charging. You can always hold it together with some of those craft loom bands, which are like little rubberbands, but they work on the Flex bands. I use them for color on my black band.

The manual says you can shower in the Flex, but you don't really get any steps in while showering. Many of us use that time to charge the unit. At least one member here said wearing his Flex in the pool and shower lead to premature breaking of the band. I'd rather be safe than needing another band.

Try to get all the water out of your band and out of your tracker. Restart the device and be sure to charge it up.

Then get back to us and let us know how things are going for you.
