How can I prevent double-counting?

I use Digifit to automatically log bike rides to Fitbit.  But Fitbit is counting steps for those rides too -- at a rate of about 4,000 steps per hour.  Not tremendously fast, but it comes to over 600 calories per hour, about the same as the calorie expenditure for riding the bike.  How can I stop the double counting?

Normally, if you have a period of time that is counting steps when it shouldn't (or don't want them), you can manually log a non-active activity such as driving a car for that period. Just go to the activity log page and log it at the bottom.
