Welcome to the forums!

I do not see it listed here:

Apps

But I would go to the fittrack website and look there. There is probably something there to tell you how

Looking forward to seeing you around the forums!

I did got to inlet who developed fittrack weigh scale and they said it is an Fitbit issue. There is nothing on either side that shows how to attach fittrack to the wieght icon on my dashboard. I had the Aria that stopped working and I replaced it last week with the Fittrack. When I go to applications on my settings, it shows that the fittrack application is there and has read/write permissions.

Normally a third party company will use Fitbit's API to send the users weight to Fitbit. Since the other companies are having no problems submitting the weight, I just checked the IFTTT app for this and not sure why Fttttack would have problems.

They are not connecting. There is no other weight icon that shows up that
connects the FitTrack.

Third party app connections are handled by the third party.

Normally a person goes to the third party and their link-up page to initiate the link-up.

The third party then would send the users weight by using fitbits API .

If Fittrack is expecting Fitbit to allow their scale to connect directly to you account, this will not happen. However .Fitbit has already provided the tools needed for any third party app to send data.

Withings still sends weight to fitbit.

Hello! did you ever sort this issues? I'm having the same problem!

I suspect bad programming and this is related to "time"

As you know the fittrack sync only syncs "today's" weight, so if fitbit and fittrack think it is different days, it doesn't sync.

I used to weigh myself at 0800BST (0700 UTC/GMT) and it didn't sync.

If I weigh at 1100BST (1000 UTC/GMT) it works fine every time.

Rubbish handling of local time by one or both apps.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue??   I can’t get my weight on the FitTrack to transfer to my Fitbit app.    Very frustrating.  I’ve removed access and reconnected the apps and nothing works.

Hi, did you manage to connect your fitbit to your fittrack?

Have you contacted fittrack? Or checked their site? This shouldtshould be the first place to look.

I’ve checked both sites... I’ve disconnected, I’ve reconnected, rebooted, I’ve done everything it’s said, everything on earth and it will not work anymore.   It worked once right around Christmas somehow.  Once!! And never worked again.   I gave up... don’t even care anymore.  It’s garbage and don’t recommend it anymore.   These days it should connect with ease... and it doesn’t

@Kevandtheboyzz Thanks for getting back. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

As mentioned by @Rich_Laue in this thread before, there are tons of apps that use our Open API to integrate their service with ours. Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third-party integrations. It's up to the owner of the third-party app to implement or update features for their app. Unless there's some sort of limitation on Fitbit's side (e.g. no Fitbit SDK), then it's safe to assume that the owner of the app is the one to contact if you're interested in seeing the integration improved.

Learn more about it by checking our Third Party Apps - FAQ here

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Same here. As a product manager by career, I think the Fitbit side should be a bit embarrassed of their responses here and lack of caring. I would already have been on the phone with the PM at Fittrack to at least attempt to sort this out, instead of playing 'blame games' that only hurt your mutual customers.

In what way should Fitbit be embarrassed? Many apps have taken advantage of Fit it's open API. It really is not that hard to do, I have a Google Sheet that pulls my steps every night through Fitbit's API.

If they are having an issue, their really is nothing fitbit can do until they reach out to fitbit for help.

However the API is working for many companies, so I doubt the issue is on fitbit's side.
