How to connect Fitbit with MapMyWalk?

How do you get Fitbit to talk to MapMyWalk.  I have to carry my phone with me even though I believe I have connected the Fitbit to MapMyWalk

I have Fitbit sync to MapMyFitness / MapMyWalk / etc enabled but the last few months nothing gets synced to MapMyX platforms.
I had been usingFitbit to Endomondo sync and then Endomondo to MapMyX sync to overcome the issue but Endomondo is going to be disabled soon so that leaves me with no solution.
