I love my Charge 3 for tracking gym workouts and generally tracking HR throughout the day but when I'm cycling I use a bike computer and a chest strap HR monitor for better reliability. To still get my bike rides in my Fitbit log, I have linked my Strava account to my Fitbit account and the syncronisation does work rather well. The Strava activity gets imported soon after and it even eliminates a duplicate if I've redundantly worn my Fitbit as well (for watch, notification purposes). It doesn't carry over the GPS/map data but I don't really mind that because I only care about the fitness impact of my rides.
Hence, what I am missing sorely is heart rate. I have checked and I'm sure HR is included in the .fit file exported by Strava, it just isn't recognised by Fitbit. Without HR I don't see any point in the activity being in my log. There's no information about heart rate zones (indicating effort levels) and as a result, the calories burned are purely a guess (and constant throughout the whole activity).
Is there something I can do to make sure HR will be carried over from Strava?
If not, can this be tracked as a feature request? Or as a bug report, if it is supposed to work?

@schnoko It's nice to see you on the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about syncing HR to Strava. It's possible to sync HR data to Strava, please make sure you have all the permissions allowed within Strava and that you're wearing your Charge 3 and using connected GPS while tracking this activity.
- Open the Strava app
- Tap on the profile tab on the bottom bar
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
- Scroll down to data permissions
- Under health data ensure it's set to "Allowed"
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Yesterday I went cycling, but unfortunately after a half hour I found out that I forgot to put on my fitbit Sense, which I left charging...
No problem, I was recording my ride with Strava on my phone. All settings as mentioned above were settled, so all data should be synced...
Unfortunately (again), that did not happen. Fitbit only synced the distance and the calories data, and only after midnight, No heartrate data at all...
I wonder what went wrong/ what I did wrong..
