Integrate Fitbit and Garmin Connect app please

Please integrate the Fit bit app with the Garmin Connect App, or at least allow a Garmin fitness tracker to sync with the Fit bit app. I am a Samsung Galaxy s8+ user, so the Garmin vivofit works best for me. Plus, I never have to charge it. However, a lot of my friends would like me to be included in their Fitbit step challenges, and I cannot find a way to do that. I tried to synch both apps with MyFitnessPal, hoping it would indirectly link the Fit bit app and Garmin app, but it didn't work.

Hi there @Juliejam, nice to see new faces in our Fitbit Community! So far a direct integration among Garmin and Fitbit is not possible, neither to sync a tracker of a different brand since this is proprietary technology from both ends.

Connecting with MyFitnessPal as you did is an alternative. The downside of this, is not all the information sync across to MFP from your Fitbit account and neither will help if you are interesting to participate in step challenges with your friends.

To give you more context this is what Fitbit and MFP share when you connect your accounts:

What syncs?
Fitbit > Steps > MFP
Fitbit > Calories > MFP
Fitbit > Aria measurements > MFP
MFP > Logged food > Fitbit
MFP > Activities > Fitbit

Are people still having trouble syncing their Fitbit Aria with Garmin Connect?

I built an app to sync my Withings scale with Garmin/Strava/TrainerRoad, and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to add support for Fitbit scales as well.

I used to sync from Withings to MyFitnessPal to Garmin, but it usually didn't work, and MyFitnessPal was breached, so I didn't want to use that solution anymore...

So now you can sync your weight/percent fat from your Fitbit scales to Garmin Connect.

It's a subscription service so it's not free, but I'm hoping it's not too much and it allows me to maintain the project overtime.
