Integration with Dexcom G6

Hi are there any further updates on when an app compatible with the Dexcom g6 app will be available for the fit bit versa. I bought mine on the basis that Fitbit said this would be developed by the end of 2018.

It buzzed like it would be the vibrations for data outside the range but it was within range- my blood sugar was 6.6 and my settings are 4.4 and 10.0 so I thought maybe it was a buzz to alert that it had updated.

We have had a handful of strongly worded emails where people are asking for the old design back.

First off, before we updated we got a ton of emails of feature and design additions. We took everyone’s feedback into consideration and made a change that we were happy with. 

Now, after the update, we have had a few other users wanting the old version back. We have decided to NOT revert the update, but upload another watch face along side the new version. We will inform users on this thread and here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/aC298yEKg

We have made some changes. Like what was said yesterday, many people have requested the old design back and we decided to NOT revert the changes since many of you are enjoying it.

We have made a second Dexcom watch face that resembles the original design. If you have bought the watch face before, you will not be expected to pay again (just choose already purchased).

It works with the Ionic, Versa, and Versa Lite

I had this working and was really impressed, thank you @ahunter8850, your app is the reason I own a Fitbit.

Now, however since starting a new Dexcom sensor it has stopped working: the watch continually displays "No Data", although the time and date are displaying along with the last time synced.

I've checked the watch face in the fitbit app and have my username, password, Min and Max setup.

The Dexcom G6 app is also set to Share, and I've tried shutting down both my phone and watch and restarting them. I don't know what else to try.

Has anyone else experienced this No Data message and knows how to fix it?

I bought the watchface for myself and the app for my wife to follow our son’s Dexcom. I signed in at got his reading. But then it just stayed on that first reading. My Dexcom follow app kept getting readings but they didn’t show on the clock face. And my wife’s app isn’t getting any readings at all.

The app is really fantastic.  When Fitbit announced the Ionic would show dexcom readings I went right out and purchased one, and waited and waited. By accident I found the app while killing some time. I have been a diabetic for 54 years, and this is a great addition to my tool box for controlling my BG.

I think I read somewhere in this thread that you can force a sync to get the Dexcom reading by pressing the lower right hand button.  Brilliant! 

Thank you ever so much for developing the app (the clock face did not appeal to me so much because I want the other data on my watch face).

BTW, the link to the buy a coffee web site only generates an error.

If you go to the authors web site they have the steps to get it recognized and working.  Key step it to register the share to your dexcom account and set the upper and lower limits.

After you start the app on your watch it will take up to 30 sec for it to show the data.
