Is it possible to sync one way between Strava and Fitbit?

Hi!

I've been using my Fitbit Charge 3 for a while and started using strava a few weeks ago. I started out only using the automatic sync for GPS tracked activities, but now I started logging treadmill runs on strava as well.

Because I add those manually, they get synced back to fitbit - although fitbit already tracked that activity (through automatically recognizing it, just without GPS since it's on a treadmill).

I still want fitbit to record the activity so I keep heart rate and steps - but I also want the activity on strava. What can I do?

Basically I'd like to revoke strava's writing permission but keep its read permission. Is that possible?

Thanks!

@peccorina Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried.

Once you have both applications linked, the information that's going to sync from Fitbit to Strava is activity recorded with GPS on device and Strava to Fitbit will sync runs with GPS. It's not possible to change the data that gets transferred.

Let me know if you have any additional question.
