Let Aarp connect with fitbit for rewards

This is a question for the older fit bit users like me. AARP wants to connect to my fitbit to get more rewards. Has anyone done this? I'm just not sure if it something I should do.

Thank you

Jennie

What an interesting question, @Foxy48!  As a happy AARP member, I checked it out. Details can be found here. I signed up by tapping Connect Your Fitbit Device, but I confess I did not allow them access to everything they wanted. For example, they certainly don’t need access to my Fitbit Friends! So we’ll see. I like discounts.

I was able to connect my device Fitbit Blaze onto my rewards account, but it does not synch any exercise into my AARP rewards. AARP help said they give credit for achieving "exercise milestones", but they didn't know what that meant. They told me to ask Fitbit Help to figure out the synching issue. They did verify that no Rewards points were registering from my Fitbit. I gave up; if anything ever shows up, I will be happy to accept the rewards but I'm not holding my breath.
