Linking with Endomondo. Strange behavior

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I use Endomondo to track my running and walking activities with GPS and HR monitor. I’ve linked my accounts on Fitbit and Endomondo. After that, all my new activities started to appear on Fitbit. It was Ok, but they added extra calories and distance, so I decided not to add those new activities automatically and unchecked “Auto-Post New Workouts to Fitbit” in Endomondo Connect settings. New activities stopped from appearance, however distances of all new activities from Endomondo are still magically increase distance, counted by Fitbit.
This situation I can observe on site. When I open Fitbit app on my Windows Phone I can see some glitch. At first app shows me high numbers for distance (sum of Fitbit and Endomondo distances) and then in 2-4 seconds refreshes screen with correct data (only counted by Fitbit/sensorcore of my Lumia). Is it Ok?
What can I do to eliminate this “doubling” of distance measurement?

@Galliot  Wow! Thanks for reporting this issue. I'm happy to help investigate and troubleshoot Smiley Happy

If you don't want to see more activities with doubled distance traveled, I strongly recommend that you unlink and relink both Endomondo and Fitbit accounts. In order to do so, please do the following:

- Go to your website Dashboard

- Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select "Settings"

- Click on "Applications"

- Search for "Endomondo" and select "Revoke access" option, which is under the application name

- Relink both accounts by clicking here.

Once you've finished the pairing process above, please uncheck again "Auto-Post New Workouts to Fitbit" again. Let me know how it works

P.S. Welcome to the forums!
