LoseIt integration clarification questions (considering MFP too maybe)

Just trying to clarify that if I link my LoseIt account with fitbit will the food I log on loseit show up on the fitbit logging dashboard? As in will the calories in vs. calories out widget on my dashboard be effected?  If I link the two sites I would like to be able to log all activity on Fitbit but all food on Loseit.

Secondly, I haven't used MyFitnessPal but I hear it is free to integrate.  If I log food on MFP will it update the calories in widget like I'm looking for?

Thanks for your help!

I use Lose it! too.  And when synched they match up pretty well, as long as you choose the same estimated daily activity for both applications such as, sedentary, moderate, or active.  You can input all your food into Lose it! and it will send it over to Fit Bit.  Fit Bit in turn will send "Activity adjustments" to Lose it!  These adjustments from Fit Bit are to account for when you go OVER your estimated daily calorie burn.  So say Fit Bit thought you would burn 2,359 calories during the day as a sedentary lifestyle.  But then you walked all over town, went for a hike, and walked your dog,and you burned 3,000 calories. Fit Bit would then send 641  exercise calories over to Lose it!  and list it as a FIT BIT ADJUSTMENT.  This adjustment for me, doenst happen until the next day, which makes it dificult to know how many calories you can actually eat.
