MFP Calories Burned and Fitbit Calories Burned Discrepancy - Any other Apps that work better?

I just started working with MyFitnessPal again. I hooked up my Fitbit to MFP.  After some struggle getting it to recognize my exercise I noticed that Fitbit said I burned 800 calories and MFP said 250.  I know that apparently with the HR models it doesn't work the best with it. Is there an app (with no hidden fees) that works better with Fitbit?  It seems silly to have to unconnect the two apps and then manually add in everything from fitbit to MFP.  That seems like a pain in the arse to me.  The fitbit app is way confusing when it says you have so many calories to eat left but in that portion it says I'm over in calories for the day. It doesn't just show that information right there and skip that tile completely. That would make more sense.  I'm trying to find a better way to figure out how many calories to eat in a day and what I have left without swapping apps back and forth.  I'd just like an app that works with HR fitness trackers and can import calories and everything seamlessly.  But that may be a tall order.

Hello @Mizmelzy, good to see you again! For the purpose you need the integration I think the best choice is MFP.

However you need to consider that your Fitbit account also read your BMR, which contribute almost with the half of calories you burn in a day.

For more information about calories fluctuation, perhaps the following post might be of your help:  MyFitnessPal: How to correct calorie discrepancy from MFP to Fitbit. Also take a look at this post for more recommendations.

About your concerns of the calories left, note this works based on your food plan and your daily exercise. To learn more about this please take a look at this guide created by @SebringDon.

Hope this helps a bit and let me know if you still have questions.
