Map My Walk and Fitbit Charge

My husband has a Fitbit Surge. When we walk together, although the mileage is similar, my steps are always less than his even though my stride is smaller and I take more steps to get to the same place. Long ago, I synced my Map My Walk with my Fitbit and I thought perhaps syncing them again could give me a more accurate estimate of my steps and distance.

Tonight we took a small walk together and I activated the walk in my MMW app on my Iphone. I see that MMW and Fitbit are linked and I can choose to sync in my MMW app. But I still don't see the short walk in my Fitbit dashboard. I did this awhile ago so it should be showing up by now. Am I doing something wrong? I know that syncing the two will give me more accurate mileage but will it help with step accuracy? Just as an aside, I did measure a distance in the past. I calculated my stride but it still did not seem to correlate with my husband's data.

Right now, I have to say I don't see either app syncing. I've tried choosing the "sync now" button in MMW, unlinking and re-linking, and using different browsers. Help please!

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Joy_, I think the issue is because Map My Walk is not compatible with out mobile App at the moment. You can check the compatible apps here. Also I suggest you to try this new feature of Mobile track to get maps and information of your walks or runs.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other question. Cat Happy
