I have read conflicting information regarding MMR and Fitbit so I'm hoping to get clarification 🙂
I recently purchased the Fitbit Blaze but found out after I received it that the Blaze is not compatible with my mobile phone, Samsung Galazy Note 5.
Can I track my "road cycling" workouts on MMR and then sync the activity over to Fitbit? Will it convert over to "steps"?
I have no way to track any other type of workout except walking and would really like to track my bike rides to give some variety.
Tia!

@RieRie3634 Welcome to our Community! You should be able to sync your MapMyRide information with Fitbit but it won't give you steps and you aren't actually doing any while cycling. Also while the Galaxy Note 5 hasn't been added to the list of compatible devices you could try syncing your tracker with it as some members have been successful in doing so.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi There, I have just got a Fitbit Blaze and I am trying to use it with Map my Ride as it has all my my biking history on it. I have connected Map my Ride App on my Android Phone with my fitbit login and can see in the Map My Ride App that it says last synced and then a recent time.
When I go for a ride with the Blaze I use the Blaze screen to go in Excersise and then it connects to the Phone and then away I go. When I finish I get the ride logged in the Fitbat app with the Map Heart rate etc. When I then go into the Map My Ride App I can see it has synched but in the "workouts section" of Map My Ride I can't see my Workout from the Fitbit App logged any ideas why or am I looking in the wrong place?

@hullrichuk Welcome to our Community! Currently MapMy apps can only sync steps, distance, calories and weight from your Fitbit account. This is why you don't see the additional information you see on your Fitbit app on your phone. You can read MapMy support page for more information here.
I'll be around.

OK thanks for the info, that's a shame. Any idea if there are plans to update the fitbit app to support the following thats in Map My (speficially ride for me):
1) Announcements every mile with split distance time and average MPH
2) Ability to import Map My Ride to Fitbit for history
3) Spilt MPH (every mile) this is something I find useful to measure my overall pace.
If these where available I could drop map my ride completly and jsut use Fitbit 🙂
