Hello,

I tried searching for information about my question but failed, and so I’m posting here.

I’ve been using MapMyRun on my android phone since about 2012, and I have all of my workouts since then stored there. Other than the fact that all of my workouts for the last 10 years are there, I love how easy the app is to use and how it allows you to log the many different exercises from walking, running, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, rollerblading, etc I am now looking to buy the FitBit Charge 5, and my question is: will I still be able to log all theses workouts on MapMyRun through my Fitbit?I t seems some people suggest you can only log steps that way, so I’m confused.

Thank you in advance!

Hi there @Kabookie . Welcome to Community Forums.

I appreciate you contacting the Community for more information regarding the Fitbit Charge 5. This is the information shared between MapMyFitness apps and Fitbit:

From Fitbit to MapMyFitness:
  • Distance
  • Calories
From MapMyFitness to Fitbit:
  • None

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?, once you get your device.

Have a nice day.
