I just started keeping a food diary in MFP again, after a long time without.
I accidentally did Thursday's log after midnight, so it logged for Friday, and I had to delete that. I correctly logged Friday's food on Friday.
Now my Fitbit is displaying ALL of Friday's calories as Friday Dinner; Thursday's dinner calories as Friday's Lunch; and I honestly have no clue from where it invented Friday's Breakfast calories.
Which puts me 2020 calories over budget.
Scrolling back, this appears to have happened with historic records from the last time I was logging a food diary, likewise. It's as if the data tables being imported are not correlating correctly with FitBit's data tables.
Help?

Hello @m103, it's great to see you around! Thank you very much for the information and for the steps you've tried!
I'd recommend re-linking the two accounts by doing the following to see if that makes any difference:
If the inconvenience persists, maybe you could get in touch with MyFitnessPal directly. They should be able to take a look at what is going on and work on getting it to act as intended.
Hope this helps!

I deleted my entire food diaries for both Thursday and Friday, and synced my MFP account.
I revoked the MFP-FitBit permission.
I synced the FitBit app.
I deleted the cache and app data on both apps to force refreshes from the servers.
I checked before reauthorizing MFP -- erroneous data was still showing in my FitBit account.
I reauthorized MFP-FitBit.
My FitBit app said it couldn't sync.
I turned bluetooth off and then on again, unpaired and re-paired.
Put my FitBit on its charger cable to reboot: 22.58.00
My FitBit app said it couldn't sync, so I unpaired my FitBit, deleted it from the app, and re-added it, which finally forced it to re-pair the long way like a new device.
Refreshed the apps' caches.
No change.
I added today's morning tea through the MFP app; verified MFP synced by viewing desktop web site.
That was more than an hour ago, but the breakfast entry still isn't synced with FitBit, and all the erroneous data was still there.
I went into my dashboard on the desktop FitBit site, and deleted all of the Thursday and Friday erroneous summary food logs by hand.
Revoked MFP access authorization YET AGAIN.
Cleared all cache+app data.
Logged back in.
Today's tea showed up, but now Thursday's and Thursday&Friday's food summaries are just gone, not repopulating.
Edited food entries in MFP by a few calories -- the previously deleted summaries are finally repopulating.
MFP pulls FitBit activity calorie adjustment for Thursday, but not for Friday. MFP is set to Sedentary Lifestyle, so any activity beyond roughly 1300 steps per day usually gives me a calorie adjustment, and I had a few times more than that yesterday, not entirely whilst I was gardening.
I will contact MFP, because I wonder if my Friday 75minutes of Gardening exercise entry -- an activity FitBit doesn't offer -- has overridden the other 22h45m of daily activity log from FitBit.

@m103, thanks for your reply and for the detailed information!
My best recommendation is to reach out to MyFitnessPal to see if they can review your MyFitnessPal account and manage to work on it to correct the inconveniences.
Have a great day!

I am having similar issues since yesterday, I have reinstalled, installed, cleared cache etc, added, removed data and refreshed, revoked and accepted.
Nothing. The Myfitnesspal is getting all the information correctly from the Fitbit BUT Fitbit cannot just seem to get the data from Myfitnesspal...
