Ok, I THINK I understand this from searching previous posts, but I want to make sure I have this down... I have been using MFP for about 2 weeks now, and just got a Charge HR yesterday evening. The first day, everything looked fine on MFP, but it was kind of a light day for me activity-wise due to weather. Today, I went on a decent speedwalk with the dogs. MMR (as well as my fitbit) logged my walk as having burned a little under 700 calories. Everything looked fine at first, but then when MFP imported the calorie adjustment, it was a big one... 1447. On top of the exercise I'd done. Compared to an adjustment of 255 yesterday (put on my charge HR around 6:30 pm). Considering that I'm tall (6'2"), obese, and my heart rate averaged 122 during my cardio, and my resting HR is around 80-90 (I know it's high, that's one of the reasons I'm working to get in shape), does this seem like an accurate calorie adjustment? It startled me a bit... before my walk I'd finished dinner and had about 40 calories to spare for the day, then after the adjustment it said I had more left than I had started the day with! Thanks for your responses!
TL;DR: for a tall obese man who is exercising, is a 1450 calorie adjustment reasonable, or does that seem too high?
