Not able to access the FitDataSync site

Is anyone else experiencing the fitdatasync site being down? I haven't been able to get access for about three days now. Just says it's temporarily unavailable and I can't seem to find any communication about it.

As an aside-- how do i add the calories burned from the garmin onto fitbit or MFP if I can't get the sync to work?  I tend to do more HIIT so the calorie difference is pretty big.

Thanks

Having the same issue.  I also do not know how to get the calories to sync manually.

How do you get the steps to show up from Garmin device? Frustrating.

Fast forward to December and the site is again unavailable. Hopefully it will be back up again soon. Smiley Frustrated

Has anyone been having problems with the fitdatasync site being down again? I use a garmin religiously and would like to add the activity to my fitbit account. However, it is not working and hasn't been for the past week.

Thanks.

I've had this happen periodically with no explanation. In the past, the site would just re-appear eventually. I'm guessing it will again. At that time, it'll take all of the activities from your Garmin Connect account that haven't yet been synced to your FitBit account. I guess this is what happens with free apps like this. Good luck.

2-20-2016 and the FitDataSync site is still down.  What frustrates me is that it seems like Fitbit is more than happy to leave users (and potential buyers) with the impression that Fitbit and Garmin devices will sync up, but won't take any proactive or reactive steps to make sure that functionality continues.  Sure, I could run with my phone and capture GPS data, but most days I'm running to get away from my phone.   Frustrating.

Feeling your pain. I've sort of given up on FitDataSync. I don't think it's likely that FitBit and Garmin will ever sync directly (unless one buys the other) as the companies are competitors, so these 3rd party apps are the only option. Maybe the best choice if you're a Garmin user already is to get one of the Garmin wearables and sell your FitBit or give to someone as a gift.
