Not syncing properly with LoseIt - Food/etc

I use lose it to track my calories, and the data is not showing up in my fitbit app anymore. Also, it states I have eaten nothing, and have 0 calories left to eat? What is going on?

@melonyr Hello! Thanks for reporting this issue with LoseIt. I've been reviewing some similar cases; so far I can confirm this was a recurrent issue some weeks ago.

Are you still experiencing troubles between your LoseIt account and your Fitbit account? If so, you can go ahead and try unlinking and relinking both accounts in order to fix this issue. Do the following:

1. Sign into your Fitbit dashboard.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
4. Under LoseIt, click "Revoke Access."
5. You can then re-link the two accounts by going here.

Check their Support site as well for more information. If the above doesn't work, please let me know.

I got a Fitbit Flex yesterday for Christmas and came here looking for some guidance.  It seems others are having the same problem I am.  I just linked my LoseIt! account to Fitbit via the "All Apps & Devices" page on Loseit.com.  I got Fitbit to display the "Fitbit Adjustment" under exercise on Loseit.com but I have been unable to get any of my recorded food/calories on LoseIt! to display on my Fitbit Dashboard.  I disconnected/revoked access and re-linked and I am still having the same problem.  I also did a "Foce Sync" both times.  Any idea on what I am doing wrong or is there a significant time lapse when food info is being synced to Fitbit?  Thanks for the help!

EDIT:  I added this post to this thread after I realized the moderator created a new thread for this issue.  I apologize for the double post but I couldn't find a way to delete my original post in the other thread.

Mine didn't sync for 2 partial days this week. Then it started syncing again, but I'm missing partial data for those 2 days. I think when this happened a couple of weeks ago, there was no way to recover the missing data that didn't sync from LoseIt. I was told to edit data and then force a sync but that didn't work. I'm guessing that missing data cannot be recovered.

@Aaron_Kash Hello again! Smiley Happy No worries, that's correct. Please see my response to your original inquiry here. Please let me know if those steps work properly.

@SunsetRunner I don't think that works neither. At this time, I cannot assure you're going to recover the missing data. If you experience issues with LoseIt! again, please let me know immediately.

Thank you both for participating in the Community Smiley Happy

Aaron, I have the same issue. Did you get a rep we that resolved it?

The rep did respond but offered no real solution. She basically told me to follow steps I had already done. Fortunately for me it started randomly working after a day or two and has been stable since then.

Mine has been 5 days without "sync" of "food/cals" from Lose It ..to..Fitbit. Would you suggest I delete and re-connect? Or any other ideas?

Thanks,

@Capt-Ron Of course, unlinking and relinking your LoseIt! and Fitbit account should fix this issue. Follow the steps listed here

If that doesn't work, try what I suggested in this post. You can also contact to LoseIt! to let them know about this issue.

Keep me informed!

Here we go again. No sync since Wednesday afternoon. Third time in about that many weeks.

Since data is syncing properly with other apps this would appear to be on LoseIt's end. it is probably sitting in a queue over there.

In this most recent instance, I found that when I clicked on the Calories Eaten tile/tab, it synced. That has not been the case before, but it worked this time.

Hello,

I have had my fitibt for about 3 months now and I love the fact that it syncs with the LoseIt App. Unfortunately for the past three days my food calorie intake has not been syncing with the fitibit App. It's strange because the calorie bonus syncs from the fitbit, but for some reason the food I log in LoseIt does not go to my fitbit dashboard. I feel like I have been looking up ways to fix this problem all day and have gotten no real help. I have tried multiple ways: force sync (says that it is syncing fine but nothing shows), revoke acess, uninstalling and installing, logging in and logging out, I really don't know what else I can do. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciate. Thank you.

I started to link between loseit today and also not syncing the food data. I know it's linked coz from Loseit I can see my Fitbit data. I tried unlink and link twice but even 2 hours later no change in Fitbit does not show it.

The following link has great instructions. I didn't lose my information because my accounts were not deleted, just un-linked from each other. Once I got the connection working again, I did have to re-enter my food on Lose It! in order for it to show up in Fitbit.
