Outdoor Workout with GPS, does not sync to Strava

Using my Charge 4, I have 4 Activity Shortcuts that I typically use: Bike, Hike, Walk, Outdoor Workout (OW) The first three sync nicely with Strava, including GPS data, using phone GPS always.

I use Outdoor Workout (OW) for my mountain bike trail building activities, using phone GPS as with the other 3 activities. The OW is seen on Fitbit nicely, with GPS data. However, the OW is never synced with Strava, even with GPS being used.

How can I get Outdoor Workout, with phone GPS data, to be synced with Strava?

Or, is there a way to manually send the OW activities to Strava?

Thanks!

Try if you can export TCX file from Dashboard after you're done with recording Outdoor Workout. If you can and it's not (almost) empty then you can manually upload it to Strava. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do. I haven't used OW so not sure what data looks like.

@TNSteve   Outdoor Workout is designed for things like kayaking, stand up paddle board and downhill skiing.  If I were you, I would use Bike, a much better fit.

I won't use Bike for trail-building activities, wanting to keep all Bike
activities similar, and trail-building gives very unique miles, routes,
times, etc.

Instead, I'll use Outdoor Workout in Fitbit, then export the TCX file,
import TCX file to Strava. Works nicely, even if it is more manual than I
prefer.

Have you tried using the OW with your fitbit GPS (not the phone GPS) as an experiment?

I probably won't use the Fitbit GPS due to battery use. For me, I prefer to
do a manual OW upload of the TCX file to Strava than to switch between
phone/FB GPS and charge the FB more frequently.
