I’ve tried syncing my charge 5 with my FitOn app, but it says Not Available. Please add this for the Charge 5!

Thank you for your suggestion to add FitOn app to Fitbit Charge 5.

 

Currently, applications like FitOn app can be downloaded and installed in Fitbit devices with OS like Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Versa series. To add support to those Fitbit devices that don't have OS, I would recommend making a suggestion to FitOn customer support.

What suggested by @EdsonFitbit is unfortunately not possible. In fact contrarily to almost all HR sensors (wearable) in the market Fitbit devices (all of them).don't allow the broadcast of HR. To overcome this problem FitOn developers have ingenuously made an app that runs on the Fitbit smartwatches that read the HR and via the companions app transfer the information in quasi real time to the app.

Unfortunately this method is not possible for Charge series as it lacks the SDK so developers can't create apps for it.

So, @81jules , don't bother to write to FitOn, actually here the fault is on Fitbit and its shortsight to increase the integration with the rest of the world.
