Pokémon Go Support?

Could we get Pokémon Go Support for fitbit? It would take your normal step counting and put that into Pokémon Go to hatch eggs and have your buddy find candies. If we could look into it, that would be great. Thanks!

Apologies for trying to help. I'm my experience the 3rd party app Fit To Fit works perfectly in linking my FitBit account and Google Fit. Google Fit is syncing with my PoGo app fine too 👍. There are are some app permissions that you need to allow in your phone settings for this to work. Namely, the Google Fit and FitBit apps "Storage" and "Location" permissions and the phone can't be in power saving mode either.

All I'm saying is that this all worked and is still working for me. By no means you have to try this but other people might want to give it a go. I hope you have a great evening! 😁

Read the previous posts. We have been over this before.

Yes, Google Fit connects to Pokemon Go. Yes, Fit to Fit sends Fitbit data to Google Fit.

No; data sent from Fitbit to Google Fit via Fit to Fit does not work for Pokemon Go. It is flagged as manually inputted data and because that can be spoofed very easily, Pokemon Go doesn't accept it.

(Never mind that Fitbit is relying on the goodwill of 3rd party developers to do their job for them.)

Hello @Iayukawa and @VariousArtists.

There are some third-party apps that can establish an indirect connection between Fitbit and Google Fit. It is important to mention that they are not official Fitbit apps and thus we cannot guarantee their functionality nor their safety.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.

Given the decision made by Fitbit here regarding direct Pokemon Go Support (ultimately deciding that it won't support Pokemon Go), will this thread about PGo support via Google Fit be updated soon as well?

This does not work. I set it up and I only get the distance when I walk in a straight line for a little while.

How is this not a thing yet? There are third party apps but nothing works for iPad yet???

It's 2022 now. Are there any updated plans to actually work with Niantic to get Fitbit support on Pokemon Go?
