I recently purchased a Charge 2. I recorded an elliptical workout (specifically went into the Charge 2 and set it to record elliptical). It was a 30m workout. According to the Fitbit Dashboard, I burned 415 calories.
So, when this workout syncs to Power of Vitality, I should get credit (on Vitality) for an Advanced Workout because I burned more than 300 calories. For some reason, though, Fitbit does not send this data to Vitality. So, I only received credit for a Light Workout (eg 5,000 steps).
Does anyone have insight into why this would happen? I do not have this issue with my Polar A360. If there's no solution, not really worried about it. I'll just return the Charge 2 and stick with the Polar device.

Received an answer to my question from Vitality. Currently, Vitality can only accept steps from Fitbit. They cannot receive any other data. Sounds like it would require development work on Vitality side.
Oh well, I'll be returning my Charge 2 and sticking with my Polar A360.

I had the same issue. I purchased a Charge2 so I would only have to wear 1 device versus remembering to switch from Fitbit to Polar and back. Apparently Fitbit doesn't share any data outside of steps with 3rd Parties like Vitality.
Vitality needs to understand the value of cooperation with programs like Vitality and share ALL the data possible. I'm bummed I wasted the money to buy a device with built in HR which adds no value since it doesn't fill the need. #fitbitbites

I just found this article. I believe they cut off Fitbit after this hack came out. https://www.businessinsider.co.za/this-fitbit-hack-can-earn-you-discovery-vitality-points-for-a-30-m...
