Runkeeper data into Fitbit

I recently started using Runkeeper for a running program.  My question is, how do I get Fitbit to recognize this as a workout without it "doubling" my activity? If I log the run in Fitbit after running with Runkeeper it basically doubles the steps taken (or assumed) steps. If I don't log the run in Fitbit, I lose the logged exercise for the day.  Is there a way around this?  Maybe a way to log a run but not count the steps?

Hi there @dapavlin. Welcome to Community Forums.

Thank you sharing your experience, I appreciate it. This is the information shared between WW and Fitbit:

From Fitbit to Runkeeper:
  • Calories
  • Sleep
From Runkeeper to Fitbit:
  • None

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

Or if you'd like to contact our Support Team or the third party customer service for more information.

I'll be around.
