Hi there, I managed to connect fitbit app with FatSecret using Health Connect and now I see my calories in Fitbit app going to "You -> Health Connect data" and then scrolling down to the "Nutrition" tab.
Unfortunately this calories amount does not affect calories counted by Fitbit app, which - as I only insert food data in FatSecret - always stay at zero.
As a consequence, I can't see calories I ate in the in Fitbit's app dashboard (the one in app's home page), as the calories mertrics reported there seem to be the ones you enter from Fitbit's own calories counter, which is located under the "nutrition" tab in fitbit's app home page.
Does anyone know if in fitbit is possible to display calories counted by FatSecret instead of calories entered with the Fitbit calories counter? Having to check in Health Connect data everytime feels very uncomfortable...
Thanks in advance

Hey there!
I actually just struggled with this in this week. The work-around I found is to download Health Sync from the app store. It let's you sync specific data with another app. In this case - weight. You then select fatsecret as the primary source and fitbit as the location it is syncing to. It will automatically take you to the fitbit web page to allow permissions, which you need to do.
After that it syncs in all your fatsecret data from the beginning of your fitbit subscription.
Let me know if you need more help 🙂

Hi there and thank yo so much! I just tried it and it seems just what I was looking for!
Unfortunately Health Sync often seems not to sync the data automatically (I set it to sync data every 15 minutes) and I have to reopen the app to start the synchronization again.
I tried to address the issue disabling every energy saving setting I found in my phone (to avoid Android block the app to save battery) but nothing worked...
I also wanted to report to the community another good app with a "totally free" version (Health Sync is free just for the first 7 days if I understood correctly) which seems to work.
The app is called FitnessSyncer, unfortunately it has the drawback that synchronize data just once a day, tipically by night, so data counting may stay out of date for a while...
