Hi, I am new to Fit Bit, having finally dumped my Garmin (it never worked right). I have synced my Fit Bit account to my Spark people account, and I do see that they are in sync. However, I notice that the Fit Bit app is not reflecting the food I entered into Spark People. I would at least like the Fit Bit app to know how many calories I've eaten. Or is there a way to import my saved food items from Spark People into Fit Bit?What are my options?

Best AnswerSo far, none of the answers I have found on this issue make any sense. I am hoping someone can explain it to me in plain English 😄
Here are some posts I have found, but all are from 2016. I'm sorry but it sounds like being over budget is good! because it seems to mean I am eating less than I am burning, which is what I want to do.
I hope someone else has a better explanation. 😎 ✌️

Best AnswerScratch that, I think I figured it out. I need a _daily_ defecit of 1000 calories (I thought that was a weekly number), so for today yes I am over budget. so I need to burn another 600+ calories for the day to meet my daily defect.
One would think this would be explained in a popup somewhere in the app. o_O
