Here is a tip I learned the hard way. I use the Starbucks app on my Versa. It works fine and I appreciate that the display doesn't turn off after just a few seconds because we all know Starbucks lines don't move rapidly at times and it is annoying to keep waking the phone screen, for example. The problem is that the Starbucks app won't turn off the display at all. The other day I used it while wearing a long sleeve shirt and sport coat. Then I went about my business. Many hours later I received an email that my Versa battery was low. I had just charged it that morning. When I then looked at the Versa for the first time since ordering my coffee, I noticed the Starbucks app was still displayed on the screen. It apparently had kept the screen on all that time. It isn't a burden to manually turn the screen off after using the app, it was just an unexpected behavior that I thought I would share.

Thanks for the tip, @SunsetRunner. I’ve found the same to be true for several of the apps. I’ve gotten in the habit of pressing the button on the left to return to the clock face after using any app. It’s second nature to me now.
Hey, Welcome to the forums!

Hey there @SunsetRunner, thanks for stopping by and sharing your experience! I agree with @SunsetRunner, this has happened to me with my Ionic and my Blaze. I blame myself because I forget to press the button to go back to the home-screen.
As you may know, the Fitbit Versa battery can last up to 4+ days. Because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary.
Consider these tips when you want to conserve battery life:
PS: I moved your post to the Versa board as there are more chances to get related replies here, your post is more related to the Versa itself than the App Gallery.
Hope this helps, let us know if you need further assistance!
