Steps are not syncing to Spark People

On Thursday 27th July I synced my FitBit and it told me that I had done 13419 steps that day, which was what my FB One device was showing.  However when it was synced to Spark People for that day all that showed up was 13100 steps.  I have tried re-syncing but the step number does not change on Spark People's website and the Dashboard still is showing 13419 steps.

I have spoken to Spark People about this and they tell me that they only get the information that FitBit sends to them and 13100 is what was sent.  I would like to know why there is this difference as FitBit syncing to Spark People has been accurate up until now and I'd also like to know how this nuimber of steps can be corrected.

Thank you.

Hello @Maruki, good to see you again in the Fitbit Community! In this case it will depend form where are coming your steps, it is possible Sparkpeople is not taking your steps from a manual activity or a GPS exercise.

According to the shared data between Sparkpeople, Fitbit will sync as Follow:

What syncs?
Fitbit > Steps > SparkPeople
Fitbit > Distance > SparkPeople
Fitbit > Calories > SparkPeople
Fitbit > Sleep > SparkPeople
Fitbit > Weight (including Aria) > SparkPeople
SparkPeople > Food > Fitbit

In case everything is working fine and there is no reason why your steps are not syncing completely; try to revoke the access and relink your accounts again.

Go to your Application settings and press Revoke. This will disconnect your accounts to proceed with connecting them again.

  1. Log in to SparkPeople.
  2. Go to http://www.sparkpeople.com/fitbit/connect.asp.
  3. Click the Connect Accounts button. You’re returned to the Fitbit Settings page on the SparkPeople site.
  4. At the bottom, adjust your settings as desired.

Each time you sync your Fitbit data, your SparkPeople account will update automatically. Your data will appear on your SparkPeople Fitness Tracker.

Hope this helps and catch ya later.

I have 2 fitbit devices, Inspire is showing, but not the FitbitOne which i use mostly for walking.  It does not give me the option in Sparkpeople to choose.  How can I correct that? Thank you for any help
