When I go for my morning run, I use the RunKeeper app. to keep track of my activity. I have been using this since before I got a FitBit. I have also, found that it is more accurate for distance wise and such. Any ways, yesterday morning, I had 2,089 steps from 0530 - 0545 with a total of 12,347 steps for the day. When I finally logged in my run on the FitBit App, it dropped my 0530 - 0545 step count to 1,980, but raised my total daily steps to 12,570. As far as I'm concerned, this shouldn't be changing at all, so why does it?

@cjholm5 A warm welcome to the Community! Any activity that's step based shouldn't be log in your Dashboard because your tracker was made for that if you're using Runkeeper and Fitbit tracker to track your walk you're kind of double counting the steps and as a result you'll see that the steps will increase.
Where did you see that the steps decreased? Did you see this on your main Dashboard or the leader board?
