Steps not showing on myfitnesspal

I have my Fitbit app connected to myfitnesspal. My steps recorded on my Fitbit are not showing up on myfitness pal, I have over 7,000 steps for the day but on myfitnesspal it says 0 out of 10000 Fitbit tracker steps. I've closed all the apps & reopened them, turned my phone off, but it still is saying zero.

I'm having the same problem as others... food and other exercises will sync between MyFitnessPal and Fitbit but my steps will only sync if I disconnect and reconnect the apps. This is very annoying as my charge 2 is brand new and I am relying on the combination to count calories!

You're very welcome! I was on the hunt for a solution myself. I got very annoyed with the amount of time it was taking to unpair/pair the devices, only to have the same frustration continue. Here's hoping they get it sorted soon.

I am also having the same issue. I have disconnected and reconnected several times in order to update the data, but this is not a satisfactory long term solution. Let's hope they can get it fixed quickly.

Normally a third party is responsable for their own connection to your fitbit account. While we can tell you what has worked for others, if your still having problems  your best is to check the third parties site, not fitbits.

Please see the main troubleshooting guide at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-FAQ/td-p/1874190

I have been having the same problem the last 2 days (synced fine previously).  I followed the instructions and it is still not syncing.

This issue just started two days ago.  I have done all these suggestions but nothing has fixed it. Any other ideas?

I agree with Busygirl!  I had been using these two apps together for over a year and now all of a sudden I can not link the two.  I have tried all of the steps and procedures and recommendations to NO AVAIL.  HELP!  You guys need to do a bug fix! Help us!

Best Answer

Wait for MFP to fix the bug, as it appears to be on their end from what I have read, or do like I did and just start tracking your food in fitbit and forget about using MFP.  Not the best choice but no more worries about syncing that way.

Best Answer

As others have noted, this is an issue that has been acknowledged on MFP's side. You can read more here.

Until this issue is resolved, you can expect these two platforms to not sync with one another. We will update this thread when they resolve this issue.

Same here. Been happening for about 3-4 days. Prior to that, performance was awesome. I also noticed MyFitnessPal stopped sync'ing. I'm unable to tell if an update went out or something that might have broken some things...

If anyone has any info, or links to where the issue might be posted, please help 🙂

All of a sudden, the syncing between my Luxe and MyFitnessPal app quit.  I tried to re-establish link but it won't let me.  What to do?
