Strava and incorrect calories on dashboard

Evening all,

Does anyone have any suggestions on the following?  When I go out on runs I use my running watch as it does more things than my fitbit blaze, I upload to Strava and have it so it syncs with my dashboard.  Today I ran 6.3 miles, strava estimated roughly 900 calories....fitbit gave me 75!!  Something not quite right there?  Any thoughts?

Thanks

Jo

Hello @Lambeslady, welcome to the Forums.

I'd like to take a closer look at what could be happening. So that I can do that, could you please take a screen shot and then post it as a reply? That will let me see what is going on.

Look forward to your reply.

2017-06-02 (1).png2017-06-02.pngHi, thanks for your reply.  Above are two screen shots.  The activity was recorded on my tomtom watch, uploaded to strava and then exported to fitbit automatically.  As you can see a significant difference.

Thanks

Jo

Hello @Lambeslady! Thanks for those screen shots.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you revoke access of your Strava account and then join them together once again. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your fitbit.com dashboard through a computer.
  2. Go into your application settings.
  3. Click "Revoke Access" under the "Fitbit + Strava" app
  4. Go to https://strava.fitbit.com/ and click "Connect" and follow the rest of the prompts to finish reconnecting your Fitbit and Strava accounts

After that, the importing should improve. As the ones that have already been added to your account. The best way to go about this would be to remove them from your account by clicking on the small trash can icon that shows next to them and then manually add them to display the correct details.

Hope you find this useful. Let me know if you have any further questions.
