Hi All
Quick question, when I run do I have to have both my phone and Fitbit along with me?? Last two runs I have run with Fitbit alone and it hasn't tracked my run on Strava, I was under the impression you could do this and it would automatically just sync with the Strava app afterwards??
Thanks
Gareth

Lets go to the Strava information post at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-Informational-Post/m-p/144...
You will notice that only events will sync, it also mentions tgat for a.fitbit event to sync, it must be recorded with GPS and a sync needs to be done before closeing the event.
Not having the phone will prevent the gps from being t4acked.

If you recorfd the run with both Fitbit and Strava, then when finished the Strava event will sync to Fitbit, and the Fitbit event will sync to Strava.
You will end up with 2 copies of the event in both places.

Ah right ok, so is it possible to record the run on Fitbit alone and it transfer automatically to Strava??

If your run is recorded with GPS then Yes
If you want your heart rate to be transferred then you must sync before turning off the recording mode on the tracker.
