If anyone wants to fix this bug in the Fitbit Android app that would be nice. Looking at many post about this issue it seems to be a continuous issue - there are old posts and there are newer posts, and none have any indication that it was fixed.
It's as simple as this:
- My Withings weight sends data in to Health Connect every day - because I use it every day.
- I know this works as I can see that data in Health Connect and other apps that read from Health Connect like the Google Fit app.
- I have double and triple checked that Fitbit can read and write absolutely all data types.
- I have disconnected and connected Fitbit to Health Connect.
- I have basically been through all checklists there is.
- I have seen lots of post about this exact same thing searching for an answer and my conclusion is that this is a bug that have never been looked into. If this is about general reading of data from Health Connect or just the weight data I don't know. Weight is the only 3rd party data I actively look for so it might as well be all data from Health Connect.
