Thermos Smart Lid

Ok, so my Thermos Smart Lid connects all of my water drinking to my Fitbit app. My Fitbit app syncs with My Fitness Pal App. So why doesn't the amount of water I'm drinking that's getting logged on the Fitbit app, get synced to My Fitness Pal? Has anyone with a Smart Lid been able to do this?

Welcome to the forums @Scarlettdawn764

In this case we'll need to view the Fitbit Platform as a central piece, this is because:

  • The Thermos SmartLid has its own iOS app that links to Fitbit
  • Fitbit links to MyFitnessPal
  • The Thermos SmartLid doesn't link to MyFitnessPal nor will show the water consumed, even if it's been logged through Fitbit.

So, syncing your Thermos SmartLid to Fitbit for water intake and linking MyFitnessPal to Fitbit for all food items will display the total water intake and food consumed on your Fitbit Dashboard.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions Cat Very Happy

The Smartlid will not sync to the FitBit application.  It will say it is enabled but will not work. I have contacted FitBit and Thermos. Nobody seems to care as I have already bought both products.

It's great to see you around the forums @johnfoster! In this case I'd like to refer you to this post that provides all necessary steps to link your Thermos Bottle to the Fitbit environment.

Have you considered the steps provided by @robert_FL in this thread? I noticed that we've spoken in it before, how did it go?

Awesome! Sounds like the Thermos water bottle syncs it’s data right into Fitbit app water counting tile. That’s definitely the functionality I’m interested in. Is the Thermos accurate? If the Spark is more accurate but requires dual open/running apps to manually sync; then I’d be unsure which to choose. Trading accuracy for convenience would be a tough point to decide on after consideration.
