My wife and I both have the Inspire 3 and UHC healthcare plans. I have an iPhone 15 and she has a 13. Both are up to date on iOS. The UHC app can read the Fitbit data and records each day's steps. Mine still works fine but my wife's UHC app has stopped recording her daily steps even though the Fitbit app still shows that the UHC app has access to the Fitbit data. Any ideas on how to get my wife's UHC app to read her Fitbit data again? FWIW, there don't to be any issues with each individual app functionality

Same issue here. Wife and I both have Charge 6. One iPhone 12 and one iPhone 13. The UHC Rewards app no longer pulls the step data from FitBit. Also wondering if it has something to do with switching the FitBit to Google. The Fitbit apps seems to be working fine, no issues syncing with the Fitbit itself.

My iPhone 15 is still pulling steps from the Fitbit app to the UHC app. Today I disconnected the UHC app from the Fitbit app on my wife's phone and was going to add it back as a connected app but I can't find the UHC app (searched on both UHC and United) in the list of apps that can be connected. Makes me wonder if Fitbit no longer supports UHC as a connected app but that wouldn't explain why mine is still working. FWIW, my 2024 AARP/UHC Medicare Advantage program no longer offers a free Fitbit every 2 years like it did in 2023.
We need one of those product experts to chime in here.

I just did an online chat with Fitbit support. They had me do the steps I have already done. They also had me update the Fitbit app (my wife was on 4.09 and the latest is 4.10. I thought iOS apps updated automatically but maybe not.) That didn't do anything. I asked twice but was unable to get the chat person to verify that the UHC app was no longer on the list of apps the Fitbit could connect to. They suggested I contact UHC but when I did that yesterday, they referred me to the Fitbit help site. I am forced to conclude that Fitbit and United Healthcare (at least my Medicare Advantage plan) are no longer working together and my wife will have to enter her data manually into the UHC app. So far mine is still connected but I suppose it's only a matter of time before that ends. Without this connection, when my Fitbit dies (as it inevitably will), I'll just go back to the $30 no-name Amazon tracker I was using before.

After entering my steps manually into UHC for the month of February I decided yesterday to look into this again for March, again without success. HOWEVER, I noticed one screen in the UHC app that showed the last sync as December 26 - the day I switched to a Charge 6 - even though another screen in the app would show a current sync. So, I REMOVED my FitBit from the UHC app entirely. Then, the UHC app gave me the option to reconnect the FitBit. I selected that and the app then had me log into Fitbit (via Google). FitBit/Google then asked if I wanted to allow UHC to access my Fitbit info. Yes, of course. There were several options as to what info one could allow it to access, but I selected all and continue. Voila! I went back to the UHC app and did a Sync and immediately my step info for all of the first 9 days in March was there. I just checked it again today and all is well, no issue showing my current step completions. My wife's is also working properly.

That's good to know. The UHC site says once you start entering your exercise data manually, you can't go back to it getting step data in the middle of the month. My wife's UHC app does not currently show a tracker option so I'm hoping it will reappear. I've set a reminder for 4/1 to try and set it up again.. My wife got a new iPhone at the end of December and even though it appeared that all the apps were transferred successfully, I suspect that's when the connection between the UHC app and the Fitbit app was lost.

Yeah, I had the same experience. After switching to manual entry, it doesn't allow one to switch back to a tracker until the next month. My wife (iPhone 13Pro) also switched to a Charge 6 same day I did. She had some of the same issues recently, but all is working well for her now too. She isn't sure just what she did to correct things but doesn't recall having to remove hers from the UHC app and then reconnecting it.

I may have ruined our chances to re-establish the connection when I disconnected the UHC app from the Fitbit app during my troubleshooting. The UHC app no longer shows up as a 3rd party app on the Fitbit list. We'll see on 4/1 whether I'm able to re-connect them or not.

On April 1st, I went to the UHC app on my wife's iPhone and set it up to record steps from the Fitbit Inspire 3 and it started working again! Even though the UHC app is no longer showing as a connected app in the Fitbit app. Strangely, on 4/1, my UHC app stopped recording steps from the Fitbit app even though it's been doing this unfailingly since Feb 2023. The UHC app is still showing as a connected app in the Fitbit app and I am syncing the Fitbit app multiple times per day with the Inspire 3. The Fitbit app shows the steps and the UHC apps shows it as synced but when I go to the "tracker manager" page on the UHC app, it shows the last sync with the Fitbit app on 3/31. I think this is a UHC problem rather than a Fitbit problem but it's just frustrating to lose this connection after 13 months. FWIW, the UHC app will read steps from Apple Health but that forces me to take my phone with me when I walk or run, which I don't normally do. Oh well...

I did a chat with UHC yesterday. They claimed that their app was being updated (I checked and I'm on the latest version) and that's why I was having the problem. Said their internal update would be done in a day or two. Then I was given the Fitbit support number to call. Since the Fitbit app is working fine, I'm not going to call them because I'm sure they will say the problem is at UHC. All I know for sure is that something changed somewhere.
