Can you earn Vitality Points from Heart Rate data? The Vitality website suggests that you can but currently only my Fitbit steps are being credited to my Vitality Account. Does anyone else have the same problem and more importantly does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance!

Welcome on board @Hoggy46, it's nice to see you here! Is true that the heart rate won't be transferred to your wellness program.

Fitbit and Vitality are actively working to integrate as quickly as possible this option. Once this integration is available and more updates arise we will communicate it to all of Vitality’s Fitbit users via our social media channels.

Since your Fitbit tracker has the functionality to record heart rate data. The Fitbit and Vitality platforms will soon be integrated for heart rate tracking, as you mentioned this is an important part of your daily exercise. Before this integration becomes available, Vitality members will be able to earn up to 100 Vitality points for tracking steps; fitness points for heart rate cannot yet be allocated.

It’s great that you’re improving your health and wellbeing through exercise and I hope you continue to do so while we work to improve the Fitbit experience.

Thanks for the prompt response but it does raise the question why Vitality website suggests that heart rate data transfer from Fitbit as well as steps data is transferable. Also, I understand that Fitbit have been promising for a long time now that heart rate data integration is in the planning but have failed to deliver. Can you speak to the bosses and get a date when this will be delivered as opposed to “actively working” which appears to be a well used but suitably vague Fitbit response.

Has there been any progress with incorporating HR data from Fitbit to Vitality?
