When will Fitbit charge 3 get third party app support and more apps like they said they would?

Over a year ago the Fitbit charge 3 came out, and still to this day no changes have been made. When will we get new apps on the device? The Fitbit charge 4 came out today and it has more apps. Would like to see some effort made at updating thing tracker or I’m moving to Apple Watch indefinitely. They update their watches ALL the time. So come on Fitbit.

The Fitbit charge 3 has been out for over a year now and there has been no updates, no changes etc. The Fitbit charge 4 just came out with more apps, and I’m wondering will the charge 3 get this? They have pretty much the same hardware except for the GPS chip and NFC on all of them. They said on the website over a year ago that the calendar app is coming soon, and there are tons of bugs in the OS it is running on right now. When will the Fitbit charge 3 get new updates with feature changes and new apps?
