When will Fitbit sync with Google Fit?

When will I be able to just sync my fitbit data to Google Fit? I am not comfortable using a 3rd party app to do this!

I understand how much you'd like to sync your Fitbit data through Google Fit, and thanks for your feedback. Let me share that our web API and smartwatch SDK are open which means that the service you are wanting can actually integrate with Fitbit. I’d encourage you to make this suggestion to Google Fit and also post this idea in the Feature Suggestion board so our developers can take it into consideration for new updates or product development. Every comment shared in the forums helps us to improve the experience with our products and make Fitbit more useful for you, rest assured yours won't be the exception.

@LizzyFitbit Are you aware that Fitbit is actually owned by Google? You are actually asking users to contact a company (Google) asking to support a product (Fitbit) owned by the same company (Google)

@LizzyFitbit Hey thanks for replying 🙂 I already have a 3rd party solution, however, am hoping for a tightly integrated, organic solution. Surely a couple of companies of this magnitude can manage this feature?
