Workouts not Syncing to MapMyRun / other partners

I'm wondering if @Fitbit will be implementing a fix/feature that will allow workouts to be synced properly from the Fitbit to external sites such as MapMyRun, Garmin, or what ever.

Today I went for a light run.  I started a run workout using my Fitbit (using the button to select run, holding down to start, holding down to stop, etc) and I can see this run in my FitBit dashboard when I log into the FitBit site.  My account is also set to sync with MapMyRun where I have historically tracked all my runs previously and wish to continue to do so.  Since the App can't use the tracker directly I'm "forced" to use the Fitbit app/site accomplish this sync. What i've noted is that the workout did not sync to MMR but instead is listed under the 24/7 activity (daily total), as if I just had a more active step day.

The work around is to export the run from FItBit as a TCX file and import to MMR.  Though, this is a hassle and makes the device less compelling of a buy for those of us who my have other preferences for tracking our data.  The number of posts in the communities suggests that it's a desired feature.

@mercerch please take a look at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-Informational-Post/m-p/144... to see what syncs between MMR and Fitbit.

I also would like to point out the Third Party FAQ at  https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-FAQ/td-p/1874190

Where it is explaned that what a third party takes from or sends to Fitbit is up to the third party. This is a question you will have to as MapMyRun since it is out of Fitbits hand. To contact MMF go to https://support.mapmyfitness.com/hc/en-us

To see what MMF says it pulls from Fitbit see https://support.mapmyfitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/210214213-Fitbit

As for Third Party, everytime I go for a walk or run I get Walgreen points to spend. Strava not only sees your run, but also a map and your heart rate durring the run. Weight Watchers gives points for a run or walk recorded by Fitbit.

Just so you know, if you click through to the MMR website for Fitbit help it indicates there that the data is not being made available for MMR to sync.  Only Steps and sleep are synced and are apart of your total daily steps count under MMR's 24/7 tab.
