challenges, not synching and myfitnesspal

After TONS of frustration in challenges, not synching properly etc......it occurred to me the only thing I did different than those in my challenge who ARE synching properly is that I have the FITBIT and the MYFITNESSPAL "mated" so the apps talk to each other. Well, I think I found the culprit. As soon as I disconnected them - VOILA - I am synching almost perfect (within 100 steps) in the challlenge. It seems to me that the MYFITNESSPAL app and the FITBIT app do not play nice together. Im over the connectivity and will NEVER hook these two together again. If you are having issues and you have apps connected to your fitbit, you might want to experiment by removing the connection and see if that does the trick.

@ShelleyJ Sorry to hear you had trouble, and thanks for posting your troubleshooting thoughts. While there should of course never be any issues raised by connecting third-party apps such as MFP, a good general troubleshoot is to disconnect and then reconnect those accounts to get them working properly again. It sounds like you've taken care of the first half - if you'd like to continue using MyFitnessPal, you can now reocnnect them to resume that functionality.
