charge issues with myfitness pal?

Hi ive had my fitbit charge for just under 3 weeks and everything was working fine, that was until today, I added my fitness pal to sync with my charge and the unit has started to malfunction, it no longer counts stairs and the display is dimming to the point of disappearing. Is it the syncing thats caused it or is the charge faulty, I have attempted to reset as per the instructions but no joy, has anyone else encountered this.?

I have had MFP synced to my account for over a year and never had any issues. The connection shouldn't impact your tracker at all, it only interacts with the uploaded data. I'm guessing it's just a coincidence that it started happening at the same time. If you want to, you could revoke access to MFP from Fitbit and see if that changes anything, but I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Support.
