fitbit not syncing with strava

HI - 

So ive been running in the morning with my garmin watch which feeds data to strava.

however Fitbit is not syncing with activities logged in Strava.

Can any one help?

Both fitbit & strava have access given.

@bringthepain The activity needs to be recorded directly in Strava for it to sync over to Fitbit.

no this does not work

this is my process

1) exercise (run/walk) outdoors where GPS tracking & data can be recorded. Done via Garmin device

2) load activity in strava

3) 5 minutes later check fitbit . 

Nothing

Accounts have been linked so there is no issue there. The problem iam finding is not all activities are being loaded into fitbit from strava. eg if i have 2 activities in the morning.
