So I got myself fitbit flex instead of more expensive and less featureful mywellnesskey.
I've "synced" mywellness website with fitbit, and works fairly well. However the data is pushed one way: from fitbit to mywellness. Ideally I'd like to see mywellness workouts in the gym to be synced as activities into fitbit.
Anybody knows if that's possible? Does fitbit need to code that? or should mywellness or 3rd party to do that
I’m not familiar with mywellness, but from what I can tell they want you to use their system for monitoring your fitness. Fitbit will allow them to post activities to you Fitbit account, but I speculate that it doesn’t fit their business model. You would need to let Technogym/mywellness that you want that feature.
Your saving grace would be if mywellness posts your data to any other service (i.e. myfitnesspal), Fitbit may be able to get the activity record via that other service.
Best Answer@SunsetRunner MyWellness uses the Fitbit open API to integrate their software and pull your data from the Fitbit servers. They control what is sync'd and whether it is one way or two way. You would need to press them on the issue. Fitbit has no control over it.
