I’m struggling to find a compatible smart watch for my lifestyle- I’m current working long days on the beach as a sea turtle intern and the other woman I work with has a versa 3 and seems to love it.
How does the versa 3 work in conditions concerning dirt/sand? I have a smart watch currently (not Fitbit) and the sand jams it. Has anyone worn it in the sand and how does it do if you have?
thanks, M

Hi @maggieb99.
I believe it would resist the sand from entering the device internally (although I can't find any official IP rating), the are also no physical buttons (it uses a non movable resistive button) that could get jammed.
My main concern would be that sand and glass don't go well together. So unless you find some way to protect the screen, you can expect lots of scratches and the display.

My first thought is that sand is very abrasive and a screen protector might be a good idea. The crystal is gorilla glass
