Almost constant vibrations while walking exercise is started on Versa 4

Has anyone found a way to turn off GPS notifications on the Versa 4? The Versa 3 had an option to get notifications when the GPS connected or disconnected. My Versa 4 appears to be sending the same vibrations, but I can't find the setting to turn off. When I start my walk, I do the same area daily, and the connection with GPS goes in and out. I am getting almost constant vibrations many days and when I look at the screen there is no notification except the arrow for the GPS is either solid or spinning. Still happens if I turn notifications off, and put the phone in do not disturb. Even if that worked, it wouldn't help much, as I would not get the vibrations when asked if I want to end my exercise while I am obviously still walking. If I don't respond no, the tracking just ends which is extremely frustrating. I don't even understand why I am being asked if I want to end my exercise when I am still moving, and it is always at different points of my walk. Sometimes the question is after 1.4 miles, sometimes after 4.8 or 7.2 so you can't predict when the question will be asked. Between the vibrations which are beyond annoying and stopping my exercise tracking, I am seriously considering getting a different device. Calling customer service has not been helpful either, as they don't seem to understand the issue and just try to get me to redo all the troubleshooting I have already done.

Same issue. Beyond annoying. I frequently just turn the watch off and use my phone to track. Not much value in sticking with FB if you can’t use the watch to track activity.

@SJP625  @Krose13   Fitbit announced a firmware update for the Versa 4 and Sense 2 that is supposed to address this GPS issue.  9to5google  Fitbit announced it three weeks ago, but I haven't received it yet.

Sadly, I've received the update and there has been no noticeable improvement in the GPS behavior.
