Apps missing from new versa 4

I just bought a new Versa 4 to replace my old one that wouldn't sync anymore.

However, the new one won't install any of the apps I used to have. How can I get them back?

Thanks,

@Tiggy626  - Versa 3 is fine and still available in the shops.

if you are unhappy with the Versa 4 Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Watch syncing can often be a phone issue and not a watch problem, worth investigating further as it may be fixable.

For starters try logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone, also restart the watch.

But if you have 2 watches or 2 phones/tablets this will complicate things. Special steps will be needed.

Hi @Tiggy626 - unfortunately on the Versa 4 additional apps are not supported. However Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one.

You can then buy the cheaper Versa 2 or Versa 3 in the shops and benefit from the apps and all the other features those watches have that the Versa 4 doesn't.

Did you fully check out why your watch wasn't syncing, often there are remedies if it wasn't damaged.

But on my old Versa 4 the apps WERE available! That is what is bothering me.

I don't know if I fully checked why it wasn't syncing. Do you have any resources for me to look at?

@Tiggy626- your old watch was a Versa "2"

The Versa 4 only came on the market in September 2022.

No. It was a versa 3. I i had it set in my head that it was a Versa 4, but when I actually checked, it was a Versa 3.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

2 questions:

1) is the Versa 3 still supported?

2) Do you have any suggestions about how to fix my intermittent syncing problem?

Thanks,
