My Versa 4 auto-detects when I am walking and my screen automatically changes to the screen with the walk data. I cannot return to my main screen (with the time of day and heartbeat rate) unless I say my walk is done. Is there a way to have the Versa 4 detect my walk while keeping my main screen on?

Your walk mode has several screens, one of which is a clock. Try swiping left/right

Hi @dkruisselbrink - I find the auto detect annoying too as it may vibrate and when you look at the watch you don't see the time but a message instead, and you have to fiddle with watch as the message doesn't go away by itself.
You can turn off the auto detection in the Fitbit App tile which may quiece the messages on the watch but should still register the activity in the app.

Thanks for the replies. I've tried a few things over the last few weeks. Swiping left/right when the auto-detect screen comes on will get me to a clock screen, which helps. I also tried turning off the auto-detect, which did stop the auto-detect screen from appearing, but also prevented the watch from recording the walk. I didn't notice that when the auto-detect screen first appears, if I swipe it to the side quick enough, then I get my normal screen back and the walk is still recorded. This will work when the weather is warmer and it is easy to swipe the screen, but not so well in the winter when I've got big gloves on. Thanks for you help!
