My new Versa4 is not charging. I have tried re-setting it. When I hold the button in, after about 12secs it vibrates & the Fitbit Logo flashes for 7 times, then a large Red Cross appears. The screen then goes black. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it the charger or watch that is at fault?

HI @GerriP - it may not be a charging issue, try holding the button for 10 seconds again till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
If this doesn't work remove the watch entries from the phone's Bluetooth and Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.
Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds again till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
In the Fitbit App if you can, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device", it may help.
